Ambientica ("the App") is a music player and visual art application for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
Ambientica does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The App does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
The App uses Apple MusicKit to access your Apple Music library and play music. All music data is handled by Apple's frameworks and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The App does not store or transmit your music library data.
The Custom Sticker feature allows you to select an image from your photo library. The selected image is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The App does not have access to your payment information.
If you turn on the optional News Ticker, the App fetches public RSS headlines directly from the news organization you select (NHK, BBC, or NPR). These requests are read-only and carry no account, identifier, or usage information — but, as with opening any web page, the provider can see the IP address and system user-agent your request comes from. The feature is off by default, and no requests are made while it is off. You cannot add custom feed URLs.
The App stores your preferences (visual effect settings, clock configuration, sticker position) locally on your device using standard system storage on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. This data is not transmitted anywhere.
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us through the App Store listing.
